Artavis Scott Turning Heads
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Artavis Scott has been getting a lot of talk at training camp so far as he competes to be the No. 4 wide receiver on the squad. Scott was an undrafted free agent out of Clemson in 2017, and he won a spot on the practice squad his first year. After a nasty ankle injury in the final preseason game cost him the entire 2018 season, Scott is back again. He's already gotten a specific mention from head coach Anthony Lynn, and reporters have made mention of meticulous route-running, one of the weak points of his game according to scouts in 2017. With injury-prone receivers populating the top three spots in LA's pecking order, Scott could find himself on the field on Sundays quite often this year.
