Case Keenum Sharing First-Team Reps To Start Camp
5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Case Keenum will split first-team reps with Dwayne Haskins and Colt McCoy in the early stages of training camp, per a Redskins.com report. Head coach Jay Gruden is prioritizing making sure all three get to test their mettle under similar circumstances, although it stands to reason the job is Keenum's to lose at the moment. Whether he is the favorite to earn the Week 1 start in Washington or not, Keenum won't receive a great deal of preseason consideration for the starting role in fantasy lineups. Still, he has now posted consecutive seasons of at least 3,500 passing yards, so he is worth a look as a backup in deeper leagues for fantasy owners who grab their starter late.
