Austin Voth MRI Reveals Tendinitis In Shoulder
5 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Austin Voth (shoulder) had an MRI on Thursday that revealed tendinitis in his shoulder. The Nationals are shutting him down for now and plan to be very cautious with him going forward. Voth's last start was the best one of his young MLB career as he allowed just one run over six innings against the Orioles on July 16. Over four MLB starts this year, Voth is 1-0 with a 4.35 ERA and 1.21 WHIP. He can be dropped in all leagues at this point. There's no timetable for a return and there isn't enough upside in Voth to warrant waiting out the next few updates from the team.
