Fernando Tatis Jr. Records Three Hits On Wednesday
5 years agoSan Diego Padres rookie shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Wednesday's game. It was the third straight multi-hit game for Tatis, who is now slashing .331/.392/.599 on the year with 16 home runs, 41 RBI, 50 runs and 14 stolen bases over 66 games. His .413 wOBA ranks amongst the top 2% in the league. Tatis has become a star quicker than many of his fellow highly-touted rookies. He looks like a future 30/30 guy with a high batting average to boot, but even for this year, he's playing at a top-30 hitter level, providing help in every category.
