Allen Robinson Draws Praise From Matt Nagy
5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson heads into camp looking for a bounce back season in 2019. Robinson was signed as free agent but disappointed with 55 catches for 754 yards and four touchdowns. Consistency was the issue for the veteran receiver, who was only one year removed from tearing his ACL. One week he looked like the player that racked up 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2015 and another week would disappear from the game plan. But Robinson will carry plenty of potential heading into this season and has drawn rave reviews from head coach Matt Nagy. Nagy told reporters that Robinson is "one of the top players I've ever coached. He's so humble at what he does, so professional at what he does, so good at what he does." Robinson seemed to come on at the end of the season, as evidenced by his 10-catch, 143-yard performance against the Eagles in the playoffs that featured a crucial touchdown catch. Robinson should be targeted as a WR2/3 in this year's upcoming fantasy drafts.
