Shohei Ohtani Slugging .566 Against Right-Handed Pitching
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani is slashing .305/.354/.475 in the month of July heading into Wednesday's matchup against the Dodgers. The power numbers have dipped a touch this month but Ohtani continues to prove that he is a legit offensive weapon around the league. The left-handed hitter has punished right-handed pitching this season, slashing .307/.352/.566 with seven doubles and 12 home runs through 166 at-bats against righties. The Dodgers will send right-hander Ross Stripling to the mound Wednesday, making Ohtani an attractive option in DFS tournaments.
