BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 29% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Minnesota Twins first baseman/third baseman Miguel Sano has been a steady source of power for the team since making his 2019 debut in mid-May. On the year, he has a .234/.328/.549 slash line with 14 home runs, 26 RBI and 33 runs scored.
The strikeouts are still a problem for Sano, as his 37.3% strikeout rate this year is higher than his career average, but he's making hard contact more consistently, which has resulted in more steady production. His 49.5% hard-hit rate is significantly higher than his 43.3% career hard-hit rate.
Right now, he looks much more like 2016/2017 Miguel Sano, a 25+ home run hitter with a batting average you could live with, as opposed to the dreadful 2018 Miguel Sano, who hit .199 with an OPS south of .700.
The Twins are the fourth-highest scoring team in the league and Sano is a regular starter in the middle of the team's lineup. He should be added in all AL-only leagues and all 12+ team leagues. He can even be considered in more shallow leagues for owners who need power help at one of their corner infield spots.
