Oakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs scored Wednesday vs the Mariners. Laureano has been on fire lately batting .368 with a .842 slugging percentage since June 30. Laureano has been a solid fantasy contributor this season with 19 home runs and 12 stolen bases in 95 games. Despite the hot streak, Laureano is only making hard contact at a 31.1 percent rate and has been the beneficiary of a 41.7 percent home run to fly-ball rate. Those numbers are due for a bit of regression, but he's worth starting in fantasy to ride the hot bat. Laureano is set for a four-game weekend series in Minnesota against four right-handed pitchers.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Ramon Laureano came into Saturday's game after Heston Kjerstad (elbow) was forced to exit this contest. He wasted little time making an impact as he homered in the third inning off right-hander Hunter Greene. Laureano went deep again, smacking a 432-foot home run off Carson Spiers in the seventh inning. The 30-year-old hasn't done much as a part-time player this season. However, Laureano could see a bigger role going forward if Kjerstad is forced to miss time. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for update on Kjerstad's injury. Laureano might be able to offer some deep league value if he gets moved into the starting lineup.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

Free-agent outfielder Ramon Laureano agreed with the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday on a one-year, $4 million deal, sources told The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal. Laureano became a free agent when the Atlanta Braves non-tendered him back in November. The 30-year-old veteran outfielder began the 2024 campaign with the Cleveland Guardians before being cut after hitting .143 with a homer and 32 strikeouts in 31 games played. He was much better in 67 regular-season games in Atlanta, slashing .296/.327/.505 with an .832 OPS, 10 homers, 29 RBI and five steals in 226 plate appearances. Laureano's career-high 12.6% barrel rate was the primary reason for his resurgence with the Braves, but he still struck out over 30% of the time. In Baltimore, he'll join a crowded outfield picture that includes Colton Cowser, Cedric Mullins, Tyler O'Neill, Heston Kjerstad and Dylan Carlson.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Atlanta Braves have declined to tender Ramon Laureano's contract, which will make him a free agent. The Braves signed the veteran outfielder to their roster in late May after the Cleveland Guardians released him. Through 67 games in Atlanta, Laureano posted a solid .296/.327/.505 line with 13 doubles, ten home runs, 29 RBI, and five stolen bases. Earlier in the summer with Cleveland, Laureano held a mere .143/.265/.229 line in a 31-game stint. Under the hood, he generated a strong 12.6% barrel rate and an above-average 40.8% hard-hit rate. Given his strong play towards the end of the season, the 30-year-old will likely find a suitor and could be worth a look in deep 5-outfielder leagues if he has a full-time role out of Spring Training.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Atlanta Braves outfielder Ramon Laureano (heel) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies. The veteran outfielder was pulled from Saturday's contest due to right heel soreness. Laureano has a wrap on his foot, so the severity of the issue is unknown right now. For now, fantasy managers should consider Laureano as day-to-day. Eli White will cover center field and bat ninth versus left-hander Kyle Freeland.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
