Yasiel Puig Homers, Drives In Four In Win Over Rockies
Yasiel Puig had a monster night in a 17-9 win over the Colorado Rockies on Saturday. Puig went 4-for-6 with a double, a homer, three runs, and four RBI in the victory. The veteran outfielder has been red hot at the plate of late, hitting .389 with six homers over his past 15 games. The hot hitting has raised his season average to .261 with 21 homers, 43 runs, 55 RBI, and 13 steals. He will remain a must-start in fantasy on Sunday in the series finale at Coors Field.

Yasiel Puig Pleads Guilty To Felony Charges
Yasiel Puig agreed to plead guilty to felony charges on Monday after lying to federal agents investigating an illegal gambling operation. It carries a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison. Puig currently plays professionally in South Korea and will make his initial appearance in U.S. District Court on Tuesday. He played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians during a seven-year MLB career from 2013-19. Puig began placing bets on sporting events in May of 2019 through a third party who worked for an illegal gambling operation, but none of the bets were made on baseball.
