Anthony Rendon Hits 20th Home Run
5 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI on Thursday. Rendon has had a phenomenal first half of the season and is on pace to shatter several of his career best marks. He now has 20 home runs, 60 RBI and 64 runs on the year. His career-best totals in each of those categories are 25, 100 and 111. He might end up close with the latter of those three stats, but the other two, he should pass with a breeze if he can stay healthy. His slash line on the year is .310/.395/.627 and he ranks in the top 1% of the league in hard-hit rate (52.5%) and xBA (.324). He's an absolute stud. Keep riding him during this potential career-best season.
