5 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder Tommy La Stella (leg) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. The issue was originally diagnosed as a right shin contusion, but the CT scan revealed a fracture. This is a huge blow to the Angels and fantasy owners, because La Stella was having a career year at the plate. He's going to be sidelined eight to ten weeks, so he should be back around September. Matt Thaiss has been recalled to take his spot on the active roster. He's only worth grabbing in AL-only leagues at the moment.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
