Willie Cauley-Stein To Sign With Warriors
5 years agoWith DeMarcus Cousins and Jordan Bell both not returning to the Warriors next season, the team had an opening at the center position. They'll fill it with former Sacramento Kings center Willie Cauley-Stein, who averaged 11.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last year. Cauley-Stein is a rangy defender who should easily grab the starting job, and with Klay Thompson (ACL) set to miss a good chunk of the season, Cauley-Stein could end up being the third option offensively depending on how the team uses Draymond Green. Expect solid numbers for Cauley-Stein, whose fantasy perception is likely to drop based on how recent Warriors centers have fared. Cauley-Stein should outperform what those other players have done.
