Tyler Skaggs Passes Away At Age 27
5 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels confirmed left-handed starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs passed away in Texas at the age of 27. "It is with great sorrow that we report Tyler Skaggs passed away earlier today in Texas," the club released in a statement. "Tyler has, and always will be, an important part of the Angels Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Carli and his entire family during this devastating time." There was no immediate word on the cause of death, only that he was found dead on Monday. That game between the Angels and Rangers was canceled on Monday night. RIP to Skaggs, as it is a shame to see a promising young man cut down in the prime of his life.
