David Fletcher Hitting Only .210 Since Shoulder Injury
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder/outfielder David Fletcher has enjoyed a very solid first half of the season but is ending it on a down note heading into Monday's action. Fletcher has emerged as reliable piece in the Angels lineup but his offense has tailed off since missing several games at the beginning of June with a shoulder injury. In 57 at-bats since the injury, Fletcher is hitting only .210. The 25-year-old can play multiple positions, giving Angels a valuable amount of versatility. But whether Fletcher can consistently produce at the plate still is open for debate. Fletcher's fantasy value is reserved only for the deepest of leagues right now for a player who slugged only .302 in the month of June.
