Darius Slayton Back On Track In Competition
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton reportedly had a rough minicamp, but he rebounded during organized team activities (OTAs), and is back on track in the hunt for the No. 3 receiver job heading into training camp and the preseason. He was clocked with a 4.39 time in the 40-yard dash, and he gives the G-Men a speed burner on the outside to help make up for the loss of Odell Beckham Jr., at least somewhat. He has plenty of competition behind projected starters Sterling Shepard and Golden Tate, as Corey Coleman, Bennie Fowler and Cody Latimer jockey for the third job. Slayton could be a nice fantasy sleeper if he is able to secure the gig.
