Andrelton Simmons Goes 1-For-4 In Return
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons returned to the lineup on Thursday, going 1-for-4 in the team's 8-3 win over the A's. Simmons has been on the shelf since May 20 with a nasty ankle injury and his return is huge boon for the Angels. At the time of the injury, Simmons was slotted in the middle of the lineup and was hitting .313 in the month of May. The Angels offense has been on the rebound for the past few weeks and it just got more dangerous. Simmons is absolutely worth a pickup, if available, in all fantasy formats and is slashing .297/.322/.411 with three home runs, 13 doubles and 21 runs batted in through 192 at-bats this season.
