5 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Ryan McMahon is getting another opportunity with uber-prospect Brendan Rodgers on the IL, but he's back to his old struggles. There was a moment of hope on Thursday when McMahon drove a massive 479-foot home run to center field, and hopefully, that'll break him out of his slump. McMahon is just 3-for-28 with 16 strikeouts over his last seven games. McMahon's certainly got plenty of potential, but he's really not taking advantage of his chances at the big-league level. If this keeps up, it wouldn't be surprising if he's nothing more than a bench player in the future.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
