Aaron Hicks Smacks Home Run In Victory
5 years agoThe New York Yankees trailed by two runs heading into the fifth inning of Monday night's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. While CC Sabathia was pitching well, the offense was dormant until Aaron Hicks stepped up. With two runners on, the center fielder drilled a three-run home run, his fifth of the season, as the Yankees took the lead for good. The home run couldn't have come at a better time for Hicks, who has seriously struggled at the plate since making his season debut last month. This month, the 29-year-old is batting just .194, although this home run could be what gets him going.
