Antonio Senzatela Posts Another Good Outing
5 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela tossed another good game on the road on Sunday, but he was left without the decision after late-game shenanigans. Senzatela went 6 1/3 innings before exiting the game with runners on the corners. His replacement promptly gave up a pinch-hit three-run home run to the first batter he faced, saddling Senzatela with the two runs. Senzatela also struck out five in the outing while only walking one, his best K/BB ratio this season. Senzatela's lack of consistent strikeouts combined with what is usually a sky-high walk rate make him nearly untouchable in most leagues, but truly desperate owners can use him once in a while as a streamer away from home (6.21 home ERA, 3.92 away ERA). His next start is against the Dodgers in Coors, so that one is not recommended.
