Ian Kennedy Is Now A Stud Closer
5 years agoKansas City Royals closer Ian Kennedy shut down Minnesota in the ninth on Thursday to rack up his ninth save of the season, and he has suddenly become an excellent pitcher. Since May 30, Kennedy's numbers have been outstanding. He's recorded seven saves while striking out a phenomenal 12 batters in 7 1/3 innings of work. He's only walked one guy, and he's only allowed four hits and one run. It's obviously hard to invest in someone with the track record Kennedy's got, but at this point, he should be treated as a good closer. What's truly incredible is that he's not even owned in more than half of Yahoo leagues. That's wrong.
