Daniel Murphy Out Of Lineup Thursday
5 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman Daniel Murphy is not in the starting lineup Thursday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. This looks like a standard day off for the 34-year-old, who is on a bit of a hot streak lately. Through his last nine games, Murphy has gone 13-for-33 with seven runs, eight RBI and a stolen base and should be able to carve out another solid season for fantasy owners. Mark Reynolds will bat seventh and man first but is a risky option, at best, as he is batting .170/.289/.339 over 112 at-bats on the season. He'll face Arizona left-hander Robbie Ray.
