5 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday to make room for recently-acquired designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion. Frazier had been having a solid year, slashing .283/.330/.513 with 11 home runs and 34 RBI in 53 games. The Yankees are crowded with position players as Giancarlo Stanton will also be rejoining the team on Tuesday. Frazier's best bet for playing time might be a trade that sends him packing or a few more injuries to the team. He can be dropped in all formats.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
