5 years agoKansas City Royals slugger Jorge Soler honored Joe Mauer Day in Minnesota with an upper-deck blast in the top of the first inning. The two-run shot was launched off the first pitch he saw from starter Jake Odorizzi, though the two runs would prove fruitless as the Royals dropped another game to the first-place Twins. Everyone knew Soler possessed great power, and he's lived up to it this season with titanic shots from coast to coast. Soler is tied for fifth in the American League in home runs, and while KC may not be very good, he's going to end up with a strong fantasy year.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
