Ian Kennedy Nails Down Fifth Save
6 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Ian Kennedy did his job on Tuesday as he held Detroit scoreless to finish out his fifth save of the season. Converting Kennedy to a reliever has been a bit of a roller coaster as he's ranged from dominant to terrible from week to week, but he's currently on a little positive run. Kennedy has recorded a save in three of his last four appearances, and he's got an 8/0 K/BB ratio in that time while only allowing one hit. He's not exactly an elite closer yet, but there are plenty of owners desperate for saves who could do much worse.
