Roberto Perez Hits Fourth Home Run Of June
5 years agoCleveland Indians catcher Roberto Perez continued his hot start to June on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. It was Perez's 11th home run of the season and his fourth game in a row with a home run. Perez has been starting about four of every five games since late April and could provide some hope to any team ailing at catcher right now. He's been the Indians' primary backup catcher since 2015, but this year he's staked his claim on the position, leading the team in starts at catcher by a significant margin. If you need catcher help, add him if he's available in deep and AL-only leagues and give him a solid look in shallow leagues as well.
