5 years agoThe breakout season continued on Saturday for Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lucas Giolito, who has now earned a win in seven consecutive starts. Giolito went seven 2/3 innings against the Royals on Saturday, allowing three hits, two walks and no runs while striking out 11. He threw a season-high 111 pitches in the game. There isn't much more to say about Giolito, who entered Saturday's game with a 29.9% strikeout rate and 0.95 WHIP. He's putting together a Cy Young-caliber season and should be valued as a top-10 or at least top-15 starting pitcher going forward.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
