Tony Wolters Keeps Up Hit Parade
6 years agoColorado Rockies catcher Tony Wolters came into the 2019 season as a defensive specialist. He hit .170 last year, and his career-best was .259 back in 2016. Sure, he is 27, but everyone expected him to flirt with the Mendoza line, not .300. After knocking a single on Friday, Wolters is now sitting at .296 on the season, and just about everywhere the Rockies have gone, fans have gotten to see the Tony Wolters Hit Parade. So far, Wolters has successfully gotten a hit in 19 of the team's 20 series, having only left Tampa Bay without a hit. He still doesn't have much pop, but fantasy teams can do far worse than have a catcher that hits around .300.
