Taylor Rogers Earns Save on Thursday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins left-hander Taylor Rogers got the final six outs of a 5-4 win over the Cleveland Indians on Thursday to pick up the save. Rogers allowed one run to score while striking out three batters in the game. The 28-year-old reliever has been solid out of Minnesota's pen this season, posting a 2-1 record, 2.25 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, six saves, and 37 strikeouts in 28 innings of work. While he has been splitting save chances mostly with Blake Parker, Rogers is a great source of strikeouts for fantasy squads. Minnesota is happy playing the matchups when it comes to save chances, meaning Rogers will see a few here and there.
