James Paxton Allows No Hits In Return
6 years agoThe New York Yankees defeated the San Diego Padres Wednesday afternoon in the Bronx as starter James Paxton returned. The Canadian left-hander lasted just four innings, but allowed no hits, striking out seven and walking a pair. It was his first start in over three weeks as he was sidelined with a knee injury. The start was just what the Yankees had hoped for, as he looked strong while the club opted to ease him back in, with just 86 pitches thrown. Paxton's next start is scheduled for Tuesday in his home country against the Toronto Blue Jays.
