Michael Conforto Breaks Tie With Grand Slam
6 years agoWith the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers tied at two in the seventh inning Tuesday night, the Mets had a rally going. Michael Conforto stepped up with the bases loaded and delivered a decisive grand slam, putting New York ahead for good. It was the All-Star's 10th home run of the season and his very first career grand slam. The 26-year-old just recently returned from the IL following a concussion. The slam was his lone hit of the game, but he drove in five runs in total after a fielder's choice earlier in the game. The New York Mets are back at .500 after splitting the first two games of this series.
