Shaun Anderson Wild In Sunday's Home Loss
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Shaun Anderson allowed six runs - four earned - and nine hits with a walk and a strikeout over five innings in a loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday. While two errors by his defense certainly didn't help his cause, he also uncorked two wild pitches while throwing first-pitch strikes to just 16 of the 25 batters he faced while throwing 53 of his 80 pitches for strikes. Anderson might get another start Saturday in Baltimore in a potentially favorable start, but only those in the deepest of NL-only fantasy leagues and those seeking low-cost DFS options will want to pay him any mind.
