Dustin Pedroia Doesn't Feel Right Friday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) "didn't feel right" during his rehab game for Double-A Portland on Friday and came out of the game early. However, manager Alex Cora doesn't think it's a major concern. It's just one setback after another for the 35-year-old veteran. He's managed to play in just nine games so far in the last two seasons and it's fair to wonder when he'll make it back or even if he will at this point. Michael Chavis has taken a firm grip on the starting second base duties in Beantown, so Pedroia will be a bench bat if he ever finishes up his rehab assignment.
