Adam Eaton Hits Fourth Home Run
6 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton homered off of Jacob deGrom in the first inning on Wednesday, his fourth home run of the season and first since May 6. It was the only run Washington would score all night in a 6-1 loss to the New York Mets. Eaton also walked in the contest while going 1-for-3, raising his season line to .269/.336/.378. Despite his relatively slow start, Eaton retains value in mixed leagues of medium or greater depth, as he regularly hits in the top two slots of Washington's lineup and has stolen five bases. He's also had his health this season, a rarity.
