George Springer Day-To-Day After MRI
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer (back) will not play Monday night against the Chicago White Sox. Springer, who experienced lower back stiffness Sunday and was removed early from Sunday's game, told reporters he got an MRI today and received good news, so hopefully this isn't a lingering issue. It's been an absolutely monstrous start so far for the 29-year-old and there's no reason for Houston to rush him back until he's at full strength, luckily though he seems to have avoided any serious injury.
