Josh Reddick Continues Strong Start
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick went 2-for-2 with one double and two walks in the Astros 4-3 loss to the Red Sox. Reddick is 8-for-17 (.470) over his last five games played and is slashing .302/.361/.453 in the month of May. After a down season in 2018 that was maligned by injuries, the veteran is back to being a dangerous bat in the bottom half of a dangerous Astros lineup. Through 144 at-bats this season Reddick's slugging percentage is back up to .472 and is absolutely crushing left-handed pitching. Through 25 at-bats against lefties, Reddick is slashing .480/.536/.800 with five doubles. Reddick still is not an everyday player, limiting his fantasy value and is best suited for AL-only leagues right now.
