6 years agoKansas City Royals rookie infielder Nicky Lopez has been utterly successful at the major league level so far as he's already smacked three hits in his first two games in the bigs, and he drilled his first extra-base hit, a double, on Wednesday. Lopez is known for being a defensive star who can lightly contribute in all five categories and maintains a sky-high on-base percentage thanks to a phenomenal batting eye. With the Royals running wild this season thanks to the fastest lineup in baseball, expect to see Lopez get plenty of action on the basepaths once he settles in.
