Brandon Woodruff Lowers ERA Tuesday
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff threw six shutout innings allowing one hit and five walks while striking out five in Tuesday's win against the Phillies. Woodruff has now posted back to back quality starts which gives him a total of two on the season. As impressive as only allowing one hit against the Phillies is, the five walks are certainly worrisome. Still, Woodruff has been showing a lot of improvement lately and has lowered his ERA by over two runs in his past four starts. The strikeouts are there, and is Woodruff can show some consistency moving forward, he may be a solid piece at the back end of your rotation.
