6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Eric Thames went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, a run and two walks in Wednesday's win over the Nationals. Thames has been ice-cold lately, as his average has dropped to .247, but Thames has been known to be a streaky hitter. Even with the power surge that Jesus Aguilar has been on, Thames is still getting more at-bats and looks to be the first baseman for right now. Still, the situation is worth keeping an eye on, but Thames isn't a must-own or must-start while his bat is so cold.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
