Kyle Freeland Lit Up By Arizona
6 years agoColorado Rockies starter Kyle Freeland was expected to suffer from some correction this season, but Saturday's debacle against Arizona was a little harsh. The Diamondbacks hung eight earned on Freeland in six innings of work, including smacking three home runs off the lefty. This made two straight bad outings for Freeland, and he's now surrendered five or more earned runs in three games this year. He's only held opponents to less than three runs in three games as well. Between his low strikeout ratio, his home park, and his correction, Freeland isn't even worthy of being in a lineup for now. He'll welcome the Padres to Coors next week, but owners shouldn't.
