BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 13% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS: As if you needed any more ammunition to pick up this kid, he hit another home run while I'm writing this post. As of now, Chavis is slashing a robust .250/.419/.667 with three home runs, five RBI, one stolen base and nearly as many walks (six) as strikeouts (seven).
Additionally, Chavis just gained second base eligibility in Yahoo! leagues, and is on his way toward gaining it in ESPN and other formats as well. A multi-positional infielder with his kind of power, plate discipline and the ability to swipe the occasional base is someone that shouldn't be left on the waiver wire for too long - and in 12-teamers I can promise you he'll be gone soon if you don't act fast.
Yes, there's concern about playing time when the Red Sox are fully healthy, but Rafael Devers is really struggling, and the 2B tandem of Eduardo Nunez, Dustin Pedroia and Brock Holt doesn't inspire much confidence. Chavis shouldn't have too much of an issue winning that job outright for the rest of the season. Get him while you can.
