The Miami Dolphins are close to acquiring quarterback Josh Rosen from the Miami Dolphins on Friday, and a deal might be tentatively done, according to multiple sources. The Cardinals would receive the No. 48 pick from Miami. Rosen wasn't expected to stick around after Arizona made Kyler Murray the No. 1 overall pick in the first round on Thursday. It's a cheap and decent move for the Dolphins, as veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick was tops on their depth chart under center. Rosen was awful in his rookie year in the desert behind a terrible offensive line. It's unclear if he'll start right away in Miami, but he should be considered the favorite over Fitzmagic. A change of scenery should help the 2018 first-round pick, but he won't have a ton of aerial weapons around him and will be, at best, a weak QB2 selection.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Cleveland Browns signed former first-round quarterback Josh Rosen to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to sources. Rosen is only 25 years old but has already spent time with five other NFL teams but those that have been around him think he is ready to prove he belongs. With a suspension for Deshaun Watson looming, Rosen will give the Browns some experience behind Jacoby Brissett. The Browns also have Joshua Dobbs on the roster. Rosen was drafted 10th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 out of UCLA, but he has started only 16 games (13 in his rookie season) while going 277-for-513 for 2,864 yards, 12 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in three seasons. If Rosen is starting games for the Browns in 2022, they'll be in trouble.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Cleveland Browns are working out free-agent quarterbacks this week, including veterans AJ McCarron and Josh Rosen, according to sources. The Browns are looking to go to training camp with four QBs, with Jacoby Brissett set to be the starter, depending on what happens with Deshaun Watson's status. Behind Watson and Brissett, the Browns also have Joshua Dobbs, but Cleveland would like to bring in one more signal-caller to give them more depth at the position with Watson facing a potentially lengthy suspension in 2022. Rosen, a former first-round pick, went 2-for-11 with two interceptions as Matt Ryan's backup with the Atlanta Falcons in 2021. McCarron signed with Atlanta last offseason before missing the entire season with a torn ACL.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
