Trent Thornton Loses Third Straight Start
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Trent Thornton allowed four runs on six hits across five innings of work during Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the San Francisco Giants. He struck out five batters and walked none. After two solid outings to start the season, the wheels have fallen off for Thornton. He has allowed at least four runs in each of his past three outings, which has resulted in his 5.79 ERA. The 25-year-old right-hander is expected to face the Los Angeles Angels in his next start. Leave him on the waiver wire until his performance changes.
