BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 42% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS: The former eighth overall pick is finally beginning to live up to some of the lofty expectations that were laid on him when he first came into the league. Dozier's 2018 season was a disappointment, but so far in 2019 he has ballooned his walk rate (14.1%) while dropping his strikeout rate (20.5%).
He's also crushing the ball, with a 46.0% hard hit rate, a miniscule 8.0% soft hit rate and five home runs with a .292/.397/.585 slash line.
Dozier's batted ball profile completely supports this breakout, and while there are still red flags - namely his ability to hit breaking balls and left-handed pitching - at this point I'd want a piece of Dozier in every league he's still available.
