Michael Conforto Drills Home Run In Defeat
6 years agoRuns were difficult to come by Wednesday afternoon at Citizens Bank Ballpark between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets. Outfielder Michael Conforto opened the scoring for the road team with a solo blast in the seventh, one of two runs his club would score in a 3-2 defeat. It was his second consecutive game with a home run, as he extended his current hit streak to six games. For the season, the outfielder is now batting .324 with five home runs and 11 RBI.
