Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario went 2-for-4 with two RBI in a 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers on Saturday. The performance raises Rosario's batting average to .238 with a .733 OPS, two homers, five runs and nine RBI in 42 at-bats on the season. While it hasn't been a hot start at the plate for Rosario, he has suffered from some bad luck, sporting just a .258 BABIP. He remains a solid all-around fantasy contributor in all leagues. He will face off against Detroit right-hander Jordan Zimmermann on Sunday.--Matt T - RotoBaller

According to Ari Alexander of KPRC2, the Los Angeles Dodgers have signed outfielder Eddie Rosario to a minor-league contract. Rosario spent time with the Washington Nationals and the Atlanta Braves during the 2024 campaign. However, he had the worst season of his 10-year MLB career as he held a .175/.215/.36 slash line. He hit just 10 home runs and swiped nine bags across 91 contests. He drew walks at a poor 5.0 percent rate and struck out at a high 24.1 percent rate. This was a sharp drop from the .255/.305/.450 line and 21 long balls he hit during the 2023 campaign. Given the depth on the Dodgers roster, fantasy managers should expect Rosario to open the campaign at the Triple-A level. If he does bounce back in spring training, he could compete for playing time alongside Andy Pages and James Outman.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

New York Mets outfielder Eddie Rosario, who had been playing with Triple-A Syracuse, was released by the team on Sunday. The Mets signed Rosario to a minor-league deal on Aug. 13 and have already moved on after he went 3-for-29 (.103) with a homer, two RBI and eight strikeouts in seven games played at Syracuse. The 32-year-old left-handed-hitting veteran also hit a combined .175/.215/.316 with 10 home runs, 35 RBI and nine stolen bases in 319 plate appearances over 91 games with the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves this year. It's been a steep fall for Rosario, who last year hit .255/.305/.450 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI in 142 games with the Braves. If he latches on with another team before the end of the 2024 season, it will be his fourth club of the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Atlanta Braves announced Thursday that they have designated outfielder Eddie Rosario for assignment. Rosario spent 24 games with Atlanta after starting the season with the Washington Nationals. With the Braves, Rosario turned in a slash line of .154/.181/.282 with three homers and nine RBI. The 32-year-old struggled in his second go-around with the Braves and will look to catch on with a new team. It would be hard to imagine Rosario being fantasy-relevant even if he were to find a new opportunity.--Brian Buckey - RotoBaller

The Atlanta Braves selected the contract of outfielder Eddie Rosario from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday and optioned outfielder Luke Williams to Gwinnett in a corresponding move. The Braves also designated outfielder J.P. Martinez for assignment. Rosario is starting in left field and is batting seventh for Atlanta in Monday's series opener against the hosting Arizona Diamondbacks and rookie right-hander Yilber Diaz, who will be making his major-league debut. The 32-year-old veteran will give Atlanta more outfield depth with Ronald Acuna Jr. (knee) out for the season and Michael Harris II (hamstring) on the injured list. Rosario hit just .183/.226/.329 with seven homers, 26 RBI and eight steals in 67 games with the Nationals in 2024 before being cut, but he clubbed 21 home runs and drove in 74 in 142 games for the Braves just last year. Expect Rosario to be a platoon option back in Atlanta moving forward against right-handed pitching.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
