Ryan Zimmerman Falls Out Of Lineup On Saturday
6 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman will take a seat on Saturday afternoon against Chris Archer and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 34-year-old is slashing .205/.333/.308 with one home run and eight RBI through the early portion of the season. In his absence, Matt Adams will get the start at first base and bat fifth. Adams has only had 16 plate appearances in 2019 and carries a .200 average with four RBI. He is a DFS play to avoid on Saturday against Archer's 2.45 ERA.
