6 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone announced Friday that outfielder Giancarlo Stanton (biceps) was scheduled to hit off a tee and perform soft-toss throws as he ramps up baseball activities. Boone stated Stanton would be back "sooner rather than later," which makes it easy for owners to raise their hopes of a quick return. The 29-year-old was placed on the injured list to begin April with a biceps strain. He's been one of many losses the Yankees have suffered in their starting lineup. With his return, the club's offense will take a significant step forward.--RDelgado
