Max Muncy Exits With Injury
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers slugger Max Muncy exited Thursday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals early after appearing to suffer a hand injury. The 28-year-old was playing at second base when he booted a grounder. This occurred in the fifth inning and he was subsequently removed in favor of Chris Taylor as the Dodgers fell, 11-7. The extent of Muncy's injury is still unknown, but news should emerge soon. Should the injury be minor, he should continue to be started as he's already driven in 11 runs this season coming off a 2018 campaign that saw him smack 35 home runs.
