Dan Straily Hit Hard In Orioles Debut Wednesday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dan Straily had a poor first outing for his new team in Wednesday's 10-3 loss to the A's. Straily pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on eight hits (including two home runs) and no walks with no strikeouts. The 30-year-old was only recently signed, so he will need some time to get stretched out. Regardless, Straily has never been a great fantasy pitcher, posting a career 4.32 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP and a 7.67 K/9 rate. Fantasy players should avoid him at least until he has gotten a few more innings of work under his belt. After that, he will need to show some signs of value before being considered.
