DJ LeMahieu Records Three More Hits In Defeat
6 years agoWhile the New York Yankees blew a third consecutive lead en route to getting swept in Houston, one of their infielders continued his strong start. DJ LeMahieu continues to be sensational for the struggling Bronx Bombers, picking up three more hits on Wednesday night. The 30-year-old hit a sacrifice fly early and later hit a big double in the eighth as the Yankees pulled to within one run. LeMahieu is hitting .410 this season as he plays a starting role in the absence of Miguel Andujar. While Giovanny Urshela has seen more playing time at third as of late, look for the former Rockies All-Star to continue to be the first option.
